Do you feel called to create lasting, positive change for women and children in Tanzania? At the Esther Therapy Center, our community mission extends beyond therapy rooms. We invite compassionate individuals worldwide to join our Mwanamke Jasiri project, a dedicated Women’s Empowerment Volunteer Program designed for sustainable impact.
“Mwanamke Jasiri” is a Swahili term meaning “Courageous Woman.” It represents the resilient spirit of the women we serve and embodies the commitment of every volunteer who stands beside them. This project is a true partnership dedicated to fostering courage, autonomy, and sustainable change, much like our youth-focused Kijana Mwangaza (Youth Enlightenment) Project empowers the next generation.
s a Mwanamke Jasiri volunteer, you will contribute to key pillars of empowerment:
1. Promoting Economic Independence & Vocational Training:
Assist in teaching marketable skills (e.g., tailoring, handicrafts, digital literacy, business management).
Support micro-enterprise initiatives and cooperative groups.
